Handwriting Details for Custom Christmas Ornaments
📝 GUIDELINES FOR YOUR CHILD’S HANDWRITING
• It can be their name, a note to Nana, “Merry Christmas,” or whatever else you’d like it to say! We just ask that you keep it short & sweet. No paragraphs or large drawings, please.
• Child’s writing should be on a light-colored piece of paper, preferably white.
• Have your child use a Crayola-style marker or Sharpie if possible so the letters are nice and thick. Pen or pencil tends to become very thin when printed.
• You can put up to 3 names on one ornament. You can do 4 names if you are okay with them being smaller.
• Your child can write out the year, we can type the year, or you can omit the year completely.
• The size of the handwriting on the paper does NOT matter! We can resize it to fit the ornament.
• The color of the handwriting does NOT matter! We will edit it to coordinate with the ornament.
• We may crop and clean up the image as needed for printing, but we will preserve your child’s actual handwriting and will not change the handwriting itself.
⚠️ PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING
We will NOT send proofs before printing. Your handwriting submission will be printed as submitted, with any necessary sizing, cropping, cleanup, and color adjustments.
Please make sure you are 100% happy with your handwriting submission before uploading it.
Once your handwriting has been submitted, changes may not be possible.
🎄 MOM TIP:
Check out that current basket/pile of schoolwork you’ve been waiting to throw away while your child isn’t looking 😂😂 You may find that they already have a few really good names written on there!
